  • Sand Patterns

When the beach puddle drained, it left some interesting textures and patterns in the sand, which the low light of dawn highlighted.

Thanks Greg - at my age, it's only the poodles that get me up and moving along a beach so early.

They are starting to demand Spotter's Fees now

Don't get me started on Spotters Fees! I'm still dealing with Bella's mobile phone account and her calls to her New York agent.

I notice that the poodles' modelling contract must have expired. A pity.

Despite the obvious deficiencies, I love the way you have handled the light in this shot, with resulting sand textures. Terrific color too.

Get on to their agent ASAP to renew the contract.

My indecision is final, I think.

Great patterns and composition with them leading into the scene. Now if I took that shot I'd end up with a burnt out blob where the sun is. How do you manage to get the rays? And are those people swimming down further - brrrrrrr!

Thanks Charles - negotiations have been tough - poodles may look soft and cuddly, but they are ruthless when it comes to terms and conditions. But expect new (expensive), photos soon.

Not sure Gabby - I just point the camera (set to P), at the sun and hope for the best. I'm a lazy tog.

I haven't seen anyone swimming for awhile now.

            Cheers
