QAL pano take II

Have been wanting to try this shot again. Had to wait for the high tide to be at the right time otherwise the foreground becomes rather unattractive mudflats. Unfortunately it was quite windy which means no reflections.

Very nice.
I like the way the smoke from the chimney stacks indicates that it was windy.
If you could lighten the foreground in the 2nd one similar to the first you'd have a winner.

number one for me what a great shot I also love the feeling of warm and cool together. Wow I just learned something today I did not know that windy weather meant no reflections wonder why that would be. thanks for sharing PP

Makes the water choppy Sandy therefore breaking up the reflections. Sometimes on a very still night you can get really strong reflected light in different colours.

It's #2 for me ... slightly larger detail within the image itself
Beaut colours, great exposure giving all those whisps of cloud / steam [whatever]
That lens of yours is certainly paying its way !

A friend of ours used to be the head Mech Engineer there and continually assured everyone it was only steam lol.

Thanks for the comments everyone. It's one of those places I keep returning to trying to get better results - now I need still weather to try for nice reflections.
