Looks like you are still having fun by the beach (while attempting to drown your camera)
Hmm - not sure about these - dramatic light, but to me the waves are too dark, but they may appeal to others - what are those red bits are in #1?
#4 would be my pic - good action, composition and better light
Cheers

Thanks Alan, They are different...Gotta keep trying new things.
I thought the red in No.1 was the Sun shining through, I had a look and the flash was off for almost all of them I took today so it wasn't that.
It's still warm enough here to wander out past ya knees so if there some more interesting cloud and sun I'll try again later.
Cheers

I think there is potential for a spectacular photo here. I don't think I've ever seen someone try this effect. The red patch is distracting, but there is a red sunbeam directly behind it, so do you think it is the sun showing through the wave?
No 4 is definitely my pick as well, probably because I can see a bit more of the wave action. It is nice to see how well you have captured the motion of the waves.

Thanks Inapickle, I'm glad you enjoyed.
So now to spoil the illusion...here is a wider shot of No.4. taken over the rocks on the left.
Was just a matter of getting real low and close and trying to line the sun up as it rose for the day...
As you can see...the surf is not that great.
Sorry if I've spoilt your day...

I like #2 of these. I like the contrast of the dark foreground, the sunrise behind the waves and the red shining through the bubbles of foam at the top of the wave. For me the sun is too bright in #4. As for your 'spoil the illusion' shot, yep that's what our surf looks like, no pounding waves up here unless there is a cyclone close by.
