Very nice - I like all the different colours in the foreground - just a bit too much empty blue sky for me.

Have added some cloud below...Left most of my stock pic's at home. These clouds seemed to match up with the hills and the shadows.

The clear sky has a character all it's own. You are illustrating wide open space and that does it well.

I always like clouds but that's just a personal preference. In your original I would have preferred to see the horizon much higher and make the wide brown land (or quite green and fertile here) the hero of the shot. There was a lot of interest in the different colours so don't feel it needs the tree to frame it.
