Beautiful colours Mick. Those white tree trunks really add to it.

    Are those your tyre tracks?

Those reds are something else. The colours in this are stunning, the sky, the deeper blue of the distant hills, the red earth and as Alan said those white trunks.

It's hard to believe earth can be so red, unless you see it with your own eyes. Lovely line leading straight into the centre of the photo with the red river. Don't know about the car tracks

The car tracks almost look like mud, but the river bed looks dry. Was it red mud?

Lovely, would work well as a painting.

Cheers Alan. Not my tracks, this image was captured from the highway on a trip to Perth a while back. Risky business going cross country here as it's tyre stake city. May not look like it but it's very rough terrain.

The Pilbara is an incredibly beautiful region Gabby, I can't get enough of it.

A cyclone had been through the area a few weeks earlier but it was quite dry when I passed through and those tracks were made just as it was dry enough to cross. The red pindan soil is breathtaking at times.

            Probably should clone them out.
