Tried to get rid of the tower and lines but looked messy so just left them.

Yes the old 'power pole filter' would have come in handy here, but if you are illustrating location they are a part of the scene and that's certainly ok with me!

The light is a little flat, and you might have been able to make the boats pop a little more and get a little more colour out of the reflactions with some fiddling, but it's still a pleasant scene.

I don't mind the tower as it is a strong vertical and forms a rough triangle with the boat masts providing a very strong composition for the image.

Most of the boats are in a space of their own and facing the right direction. This is a thoughtful and pleasing image.

I reckon it could do with a tiny tweak as it does look slightly flat on my screen, but that's completely subjective. Maybe squeeze some more 'oomph' out of that lovely colour on the water.

But it's more than fine as is.

It's surprising seeing Alans two photos, one with and one without the pylon, how well the pylon fits into the scene. I guess because it is so like a ships mast.

Thanks for the comments everyone and for the edits Alan. It does look better with more colour. When I tried to remove the lines I could still see where they'd been in parts with lines of slightly different colour.
