It's a shame it is not running. It's a great ride. All the safety regulations beat them, so now the kids miss out on another activity

No doubt like many others, I have fond memories from years ago of a day's outing out to the Zig Zag
It does not surprise me - tho I am disappointed - to see it slowly disappear ... funds, manpower & the nearly-lost skills of yesteryear needed to keep it all going

A zillion years ago, we too, took the kids for a ride ..... hopefully it can be resurrected in the future ...

I think inapickle has it right, probably safety and public liability will see a lot of these unique experiences die out - pity.Comment
