Gulaga from Central Tilba

Hi

The light was very average but I gave it a shot anyway - will have to return on a better day. 14 photos with G11. Hand held. Gulaga, the mountain on the right, and the surrounding landscape have great spiritual significance to local Aboriginal people, particularly Aboriginal women.

The light might have been "very average" but the result is far from average
Q- could it be 'raised' still further with a tad more saturation?

I have pushed the saturation already. Light was really flat and awful - but I suppose as a postcard I could away with a bit more sat

I'll just have to go back and do it properly when the light is right. The look-out is amazing and at dawn or maybe with a thunderstorm approaching it would be awesome.

Very nice image Alan. I like the elongated view of this and the variance of shapes on the horizon blended with the foreground. A very peaceful view and I think the softness in the colours is wonderful. On a wall would be great.
P.S. What software for stitching?

Thanks: Just Photoshop/CS6 - it took awhile on my old computer with that many pics. Had to fill in (and play with) the sky and rocks slightly.
