I survived rockfishing death capital of the planet

I have fished many deadly locations. Salmon holes Albany, Cosy corner, Steep point, many more southwest/northwest locations.
I was asked just recently to go to a place i swore i would never go... Quobba. I didnt like the idea of King waves, lots of ledges, snags and 64 deaths since day one had me slightly worried seeing as though we were heading up in a windy ,big swell week.
One place (camp rock) blew me away, to see whats left of a shipwreck smashed halfway up the rocks from the sheer power of the ocean.
All in all a great trip. Lots of fish and lots lost to sharks

What an amazing piece of coastline and great images of it. That sunset shot is stunning.

Like the simplicity and impact of #1, and #8 is great for its impact too.

To offer a little critique - #5 has a lot of impact, but the Grad ND is possibly a little dark, and placed too low in the image IMO (can be seen below the horizon through most of the image, especially evident on the land on the far right). Also, I'm not sure the composition of #7 works overall. Beautiful scene and colours, but the LHS of the image appears rectilinear, whereas the RHS looks more like a fisheye shot (I assume this was a stitched image?). It just looks like two (otherwise great) images joined together down the edge.

Overall a nice set though - and amazing locations too.

Cheers Tim, yeah im use to a place called steep point. Still very hardcore but not as dangerous. I may stick to beach fishing from now on lol. Fish pics to come ..

Thanks for you CC Beep Im always looking to improve and i 100% aggree with you on them points.
One thing thts really doing my head in is getting the horizon stiched neat and strait. Really cant sort it out
