Hi all,
Attending a conference in Budapest in about a month's time.

Have a couple of days to myself before the conference starts. Hope to do plenty of photgraphy.

Any tips for great sites?

Yes I was there last April. Buda Castle precinct is a must. The main Heros square. Szechenyi baths in the City Park, Parliament Buildings.

I'll post a few photos from the Buda Castle precinct.

Thanks Jules. Nice pics you have posted. Are most sites within walkable distance?

The Buda Castle is a bit further away but the others are in the City and probably walkable, The Baths and Hero's Square are not far apart. Taxi's are cheap but as I said in the other thread don't use taxis that have not signs on the side or you will be ripped off bigtime. From personal experience.

no Lost!! That beast weighs 15kg+ with all the gears (lens, film holders etc). There's goes my baggage allowance.
