  • Autumn Clouds over Lake George

I thought the sky might turn interesting this afternoon, so I headed off to my favourite spot and waited until the sun and clouds worked it out between themselves Near Bungendore.

D90. 10 shots vertical. Photomerge in PS.

I would say they sorted it out in your favor Alan. Vicariously, this is quickly becoming a favorite spot
    of mine too.
love the sweep of the land and the signs of autumn in the trees.
    cheers

Very nice Alan, that is some great cloud action. It is amazing how dry it looks to me because I have gotten used to it being green all the time up here, there is some nice colours coming through on those trees.

          Alan, just beautiful.

But the sky. Maybe you could ... just a bit more .....the clouds, perhaps just a bit less ... no, no a bit more ... er....er....

Ha Ha! Got you. Only joking. I can't think of anything. You've really nailed it this time.

My indecision is final, I think.

Thanks everyone. It was nice to get some wide angle action going again, after being a bit obsessed with birds and the telephoto lens there for awhile.

Thanks for your approval of the sky Charles

Yes Tania - even after all the recent rain it still looks dry - but at least there is grass on the ground - we haven't had that for a few years.

            Cheers
