  • Couple from this morning at the Botanic Gardens

    Hi

Two from the morning at the botanic gardens. Unfortunately the weather was not too kind so both of these are blends of normal exposure and under exposure so that the clouds don't blow out.

I really like the first one, the composition of the stairs leading straight up to the building looks great, and the colours are very nice

Hah I was there myself eating wedges by the lake with kids today.

I like the 1st one but if since you've got an underexposure can you recover anything from the handrails which are a bit bright

Damn you DPR! I noticed that close to the end of all the processing and had so many layers on I couldn't gte back to the original image so thought I would underexpose the hand rails slightly. Didn't do enough adn should have gone back to the start but after one hour of editing I didn't want to start again! Damn my laziness as well!
