  • Once was

A broken down old homestead we came across. I took some outside shots but it was in the midday sun, so they were not too good

The fireplace in what would have been the main living room

Another room, with no outside wall left. Maybe the farmer used upstairs for feed storage

The view through what I think is an old bedroom window. Now, I know the first thing you are going to say, the shot is not straight, the windows crooked. That's right, it is the window that is not straight haha. If you look at the gaps in the outside boards, they are horizontal. They must have put this window in after a few beers at lunch! Such a nice rural view for such a small window to view it through.

Yup. Might have to stick a few bits of wood in here and there, you know, just to give the paint something to stick to.

Good set Lloyd. Love the window shot, great scene outside and well captured.

Hahaha thanks guys. If you saw the outside you'd be shocked. Most of the outside woodwork had been scavenged for firewood. I hate seeing places like this, you always wonder why, what were the people like, who were they. All the memories they would have of the place etc. I know, I'm just a big softy at heart haha
