  • Beautiful Walk Downtown

Took a nice walk around downtown on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Snapped a few photos along the way.

An interesting collection of buildings David.

Something I've noticed that seems common in the US that we don't see here is naming churches the "First xxx church". Do you ever have seconds and thirds.

Actually yes. For some denominations, the name first, second, etc. do signify the order at which that particular denomination's congregation was established in that community. So, that church is home to the first Presbyterian congregation in Milford.

Stunning old architecture David and very well captured. Colourful and very detailed. The pink palatial residence #5 is a standout for me. Well done. I'm fascinated with the buildings of the past so I always check it out when images like this appear. I see the pink place is The Towers Bed & Breakfast on the corner of NW Front Street and North Street in Milford. I'm loving it and their website shows some brilliant blending of old and new decor. Wow! Thanks for sharing.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

I love that building and I am so happy they kept up all of that historical charm.
