  • Korean National Cemetery

    Graves of Korean soldiers. It is quite large and well-maintained.

    Australian soldiers who died in the KoreanWar are not here but are in a UN cemetery.

    A war that is almost forgotten. I see the graves all have flowers, and look fresh. Nice photos to remind of the futility that humanity keeps doing

      We never learn - just human nature I guess. The flowers are artificial.

    I am esp taken by the lighting that you have utilised here ... lovely shadows and back-lighting #2 esp ... and as with the other Korean pic - an interesting culture

      Thanks Phil, I was lucky to visit it late on a clear day so the low sun backlight brought out the colour in the dead grass and enhanced the contrast.
