I spent three days this week walking part of the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail with a local (to me) walking group. Camped at Esk and walked 46km in three day hikes using car shuttles to the start and end points . Mornings were a bit cool - down to -0.8 according to the weather bureau.
Here are a few of the many photos from the walk.
1. Rusting spikes and rails
2.
3. Old bridge. Most of the old bridges are closed for safety as they haven't been maintained
3. Detail of another bridge
5. One of the track markers
