Its been far worse but the photos show better visibility than what the eye saw.. I have driven up that road in the dark at walking speed with my head out the window looking for the next cats eye.

Been there - done that #2 ... and driving in rain / fog / mist / falling snow / where the headlights just seem to cause a visual white-out and then it's time to "get out the old red flag and walk before the horseless carriage"

The warm light of the headlights makes a nice contrast with the cool colours of the bush and fog.
