  • The village post office

    G'day all

All across the outback we have small communities, villages might be a good description too, where the traveller slows for the incoming speed limit, then 1-minute later exits the village and returns to highway speed

Those travellers who stop and meander them sometimes comes across some interesting bits

    As always, feedback welcome
    Phil

Red is the worst paint springs to mind first but you are right in thinking not many will have seen a post office like this one.

Interesting image Phil. Littlr hidden gems in our "villages'. It's a good thing that sunshade is there for protection for about an hour per dasy, very thoughtful design indeed.

Well seen Phil. Smallest post office I've seen, and looks very neglected

Thanks fellas ... and to call this place a small 'town' is a bit much as there were no commercial premises and only a handful of houses ... so I was left to presume that most of the PO boxes were used by farmers nearby
