Excellent series John. Perfect time of day for producing those strong and vibrant colours. Beautifully captured showing how busy it is and the silhouette style in #1 and #2 is stunning.
Great lines and curves in #3 and verticals in #5. Well done!
Wonderful use of light and shapes John. Excellent composition. Very impressive.
I think the bright lights at top left in #3 are a bit distracting which is accentuated by being out of focus. I do like the contrasting curves and lines with the figure positioned just at the point of the curve.
Thanks Alan, there was a bit of pp required on #3. I may just post the unedited version for a comparison.
The bright light didn't bother me.................... until you pointed it out.
You picked a great evening for a shoot in the area.
I can see the boss' place in pic #1/ Level 27 of the building on the left. Great view from their apartment about 270 degrees from the Dandenongs around to the north then down to the You Yangs.
Perspective is a wonderful thing. The building in the centre of Pic #5 is quite a bit south of Southbank its in South Melbourne on the southern side of Mormanby Road. I have never figured how the architect was able to convince the developer to "waste" all space with the slope on the top 15 or so levels. I'm sure the apartment prices reflect that though.
Thanks for the kind words K1W1, I'm heading in to the city again this Saturday to have a crack at some long exposure light trails., I hope the weather is just as kind.
I had another go at image #3 after Alan commented on the bright lights in the top left. I also spotted another person to delete from the image, see if you can spot him?
