    Hi Mark

Reminders of days gone by + the wonderful smells of steam + the grunts of the loco as it pulls and shoves us along

TooT Toot. Nice to see them being looked after. Also has me remembering how much of my early trade days were with the education in that style of technology. Good story Mark

Great images showing some fabulous history of the British Rail. We have the Hotham Valley Railway's Steam Ranger here in our South West HERE which is fabulous too.I'm sure your grand children would have enjoyed the experience, as well as yourself

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

Thanks all. It was a lovely day. Sitting in the old-fashioned railway carriage was very comfortable too. The Grandchildren squabbled over their seats, nothing unusual though...:
