Still building them

I was surprised that they are still buildibg new cathedtals in Eastern Europe. There is a lot of opposition to the public money that's being used however,

Brilliant photos Hans. do you remember where these are and the names of the buildings?
Such fab colours and the details are superb. Wouldn't it be great, if the keepers of the public purse were only allowed control, if they were on the minimum wage and lived on struggle street and were held to account on all expenditure? - instead of super wealthy buffoons being in charge.

This was in Belgrade Serbia. Saint Sava Temple. I am not fond of the fact that these groups are so over represented in government as they motivate their flocks to get political. Quite a bit of that happening in Oz.

Yes Hans ... this is a worry for me as well.
Without getting too het up here, the fundamentalist attitudes of some are going to cause huge hardship & anger in times to come
