  • Old stone-brick cottage on the roadside

    G'day all

This old cottage alongside the highway caught my attention as we were meandering along

    As always, feedback welcome

      Hi Alan

yep - we're taking our time to slowly meander away from the hi-ways and by-ways and traverse through many 'one-blink-and-you-miss-it' places and thoroughly enjoying ourselves

Fabulous Phil. You certainly are bringing us some classic shots and great subjects. Looks like it kept people cosy and warm for many years.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

It actually needed a fair bit of pp to hide the roof problems

... and handled with aplomb! Very good edit mate. I would assume a bit of cloning?

... and well done too. BUT to me (and other pixel peepers) it's obvious that a clone was done because of the "repeat patterns". As a good tip, when you clone, make sure you clone extra to cover up or camouflage those repeat patterns or duplicate areas to make it look more authentic. Once you do that, it's very difficult to tell it was cloned. Cheers.

The bricks look like the low heat very old ones. Would not pay a high rent here.
