I like the composition Keith, with the Jacaranda framing the gate and hedge, and tree and gate roughly at intersection of thirds and diagonally opposite. It has a very nice balanced feel to it.

I agree with Alan If I had to find a negative it would be that I looked from right to left.

Convention states the other way is received better as that is the way we read. Don't think it makes a lot of difference. I found out recently the hospitals in Brisbane handed out a jacaranda tree with each newborne a generation or so ago.

Thanks for your comment Hans, much appreciated.
I find that the original leads my eye into the picture and holds it. When it is reversed it leads my eye out of the picture, as I view from left to right.
As you said it probably doesn't make a lot of difference.

          Regards
          Keith

Thank you for your compliments ISAC they are much appreciated. The jigsaw is a great idea, if only I knew how to have it made.

I ordered a jigsaw of the picture above on 29th December and it arrived today, posted from Germany.
I was wondering where it would come from as there was an international money exchange on my bank statement.
All looks good, I am thinking of framing it for a bit of fun.
Many thanks to ISAC for the link to the jigsaw.

                      Regards
