    G'day all

This "B-Double" grain haulage truck was parked while the driver was having a meal in the eatery not far away
A 42-wheeler hauling about 40 tonnes of grain, it was one of a hundred or so vehicles seen hauling grain into the receiving depot ... a vision repeated dozens of times across dozens of farming locations at this time of every year

    As always, feedback welcome

They are huge trucks Phil. My youngest drives doubles and triples out of Toowoomba to Darwin - he's had a few close calls with folks who don't understand the rules. I like the POV of the shot. Busy times for our farmers right now.

I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

        Thanks fellas

Isac- at a group gassbag last night I heard yet another story of a caravanner coming out from between trees directly onto the highway and needing both lanes to complete the turn - to find a large truck bearing down onto the caravan. The second driver described his sideways and half-off / half-on the roadway slide as he avoided the now-jack-knifed caravan which he described as " I missed the richard-head by the width of my hand" ~ and he (the caravan) just drove off in the other direction as tho nothing had happened

We've probably all had some near misses over our time Phil. Fact of life I guess. My youngest drove his triple straight into an empty trailer which was laying across a single bridge. The truck had toppled off the bridge and was hanging by the trailer and its cab was dipping into the river. My boy just ducked and avoided death as his truck ran into the trailer. It took the top off his truck so he was a lucky boy.
