      It is an annual event getting to be quite popular. Most people would say this sort of photography requires at least a F2.8 mm lens. With the higher iso settings getting better I tend to disagree. I suppose it depends on how the image is used as well.

      What you're using seems perfectly capable of handling the situation Hans. That "kit" lens has been getting rave reviews. I like a good depth of field in shots like this, because your not just honing in on one particular subject, more a general coverage of all that's going on. I personally think a narrow DOF would spoil it.

      Every one including me had a good time. Nothing else matters that much. Even got a picture for the family album

      A nice bit of photojournalism here - good selection of subjects and the background all fits in with the story.
      Most impresed that all the building verticals are vertical ! ! !
