I've been meaning to get down to the Fishermens Bend area to get some shots of the pink lake, using the bad weather as an excuse. Must get off my bum and get out more.

The lake is not pink anymore it has not been for a couple of months now. Usually it is pink in Autumn. This year it was really pink and smelt like Rotorua. You could smell it driving past.
As the sun is setting in the west I was not there in the early morning. :-)
