  • A selection of Melbourne street art.

Here is some street art from Melbourne and inner city Fitzroy. All these were taken a fair while ago and have probably been painted over by now.

Very colourful and some nice work there. I think Valparaiso is where I have seen the nicest.

Great artists we have in Oz John. Perth is embracing the artistic talents as well. I think the first 3 are a bit more graffiti than art, would you agree?

Most definitely. It pisses me off when ignorant people tag what I consider art.
In rural Victoria there are quite a few artists putting their art up on silos. I would like to hook the camper up later this year and do a bit of a "silo crawl" and see what I can find.

Agree the good is very good.. and the bad better that I don't comment about. There is talk about the riverside silos get the mural treatment here in Devonport.

Sheffield in Tasmania is the mural capital of the state. Some excellent work done there.

This is from a blog called STREETS of PERTH which shows how good the artists really are.
Here's one of a NUMBAT I posted a long time ago in November 2015. The artist "ROA" only got $15,000 for it. I got 1 reply from P Plates so it didn't appeal to the masses
