What a glorious way to spend a morning Greg. I'm envious and it reminds me of the days when I went sailing on Rolly Tasker's yacht called "Siska", way back in the 60's. He won Australia's first medal in an Olympic Games and I'm sure he won the England to Fremantle race in the late 70's.

I remember "Siska". Pretty sure it did a few Sydney/Hobart's. Don't know what became of it. One of my friends in the cruising club had a boat called 'Siska' as well, but it wasn't a yacht.

Rolly went on to build 5 sister yachts all called Siska. He did win the Sydney to Hobart race in 1979 by 20 hours but was disqualified for taking off 5 minutes too early, which meant a win for Apollo. Here's the story from the Melbourne AGE.
