Lovely image Lloyd. It looks like he's off to vote in an election and he's clearly showing his voting preferences.

Thanks guys. The water feature on the right is actually the village war memorial to honour those who died in WWII. It is in the Andalucian foothills in southern Spain, a village called Cadiar.

An amazing little piece of the world. These guys would sit and chat every afternoon just across from the house we rented

The pile of stuff you see on the left is almond husks, when they are in season they take turns with the machine to get the almonds out to send to market.

At night is the best time, here is the village square in Narila

You actually drive up these "streets" and in most of them we had to pull the car mirrors in to get through

It is the real Spain, not the tourist traps like below on the coast where it is crowded.

I'm lucky, my little sister lives there and before we even arrive the whole town knows we are coming hahahaha Every person you see when you are walking around stops you and starts rabitting on in rapid fire Spanish and we have absolutely no idea what they are saying

To say life is at a slower pace is an understatement, if it was any slower it would be completely stopped.

This little wedding chapel was beautiful

It was a fair climb and walk to get to it and when we went back to town and told my sister where we'd been she nearly had a fit, she told us an English tourist was gored to death by wild pigs up there and you never go there unless by car!! Bit late to warn us then hahahaha
