    ****box Rally

    The ****box Rally started in Mackay yesterday https://****boxrallyau-2016.everyday...-rally-au-2016

    All cars have to cost $1000 or less.

    I didn't realise they were going past where I was so I only managed to get a few of the cars.

                Great shots Ironwood. 1/4000th of a second froze everything in site! well done.

                  Thanks Isac. I was lucky because I was shooting some work related photos behind where I was standing for these shots, As it was an undercover area, I was in aperture priority, I think 800 or 1600iso and a fairly wide aperture, hence the high shutter when I walked outside, only trouble was, I had a 35mm prime lens on for the first lot of cars, changed to a 16-85 for the last few. I think I must have missed the bulk of the cars while I was busy, I think there was over 200 cars all up.

                  Again TFS I found a shorter version of the clip on YouTube. Would be nice to be part of that one Day. Here in Tas we have the Targa every Year.

                          Did anyone catch sight of the cars on the way down, or in Hobart ? They were due in Hobart on Friday the 13th.

                            They got to Hobart and the cars were auctioned off down there to raise funds. The morning they arrived in Devonport was really ****ty weather which fits well with the rally title. So I didn't venture out. I did follow the progress though. Some real bargains had in the auction!
