  • 1964 Ford Falcon

Had a brief opportunity to grab a couple of images of this lovely example of a car from another era. I'd barely started before the owner returned so this is all there is.

Wonderful images Mick. I'm old enough to remember these great Fords. I actually bought one in 1975 - the 2 door 200 pursuit 1966 XP. Wow did that thing fly! I've got a photo of it - Polaroid!
I'll post in a new thread when I find it.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

First car I drove was a 62 Ford, our family car at the time Isac. I was only 12 when Dad gave me a drive on a quiet track in the country around Toodyay.

          I was hooked!

Nice Mick. Was the owner upset? I wouldn't have thought he (she?) would have minded someone taking photos as most of these guys are pretty proud to show off their cars and normally in for a chat.

I used to have an XY Futura with sun visor and venetian blinds on the back window. Loved it. The motor sounded so good

Owner was in a hurry that's all, in and out of a shop in the blink of an eye. We chatted for a while before he drove off. He'd even left the window down for me and said it was fine if I "stick my head in", hence the steering wheel shot. Would've loved a few minutes to get some more photos as the vehicle was in a fairly clear space. *sigh*

This one had sun visor and venetian blinds too. Tiny spots of rust here and there but it was otherwise pristine.
