  • VIVID - Sydney 2014

The recent VIVID festival of light with the G11 on a mini tripod

"There are 17 large-format projectors used to light the Opera House for Vivid Sydney, with the theme being based around “Play”. To get the colour right with what the Vivid people wanted, Hai and his team worked on a 15-minute projection loop of beautiful colours, patterns and images for projection onto the House’s mighty Sails."

Wonderful images of what it looks like for those of us whom will probably never get a chance to see it in the flesh. It looks like you found a great viewpoint to photograph from.

Stunning. Would love to see both this and the Sculptures by the Sea one day.

        Glad you liked them.

I took these from in front of the Overseas Passenger Terminal which is where the projectors and speakers were.

I've had #1 printed onto my iPhone case

        Cheers

            Thanks again

It is worth making the effort.

We are lucky to live near the Sydney Rail line, so we are delivered directly to Central, and it's then a quick/short/cheap ride to the Quay (being a Senior does have a few benefits )

We have a friend you catches the train up just for the day, every week or so.

That looks amazing. What a transformation.

Where I live they once shone a light on the water tower and make is almost look like the australian flag. I was impressed.
