  • Slowing down to a relaxing pace

Had the 2-way radio on while these guys navigated there way down a narrow section of road.
It was interesting listening to the chatter and the professional way they controlled the situation...
According to the conversation, the load was 8 ½ meters wide. I'm guessing this is a common site for those who live in the area?

Wouldn't like to be coming the other way with a trailer boat!

The police escort were constantly on the radio warning on-coming trucks and anyone else that was tuned. Caravans without radio's were the only hassle.

That's an interesting capture Gaz. With the seemingly endless mining boom in the northwest of WA overwidth loads of this nature are a very common sight on our roads. Gets interesting at the single lane bridges!

I believe the mining boom is running strong through Qld as well. This was taken on my way from Victoria to Gladstone/Tannum Sands. Can't remember exactly where??
