My love and daily commuter! 16 litre tank takes my up to 400Kms, but unlike you KIWI I tremble at gravel on this.

400km on 16 litres? You have a couple of the spark plugs disconnected?
The Strom takes 17-18 litres for 400km and you can squeeze 470km out of it before any sort of panic sets in. 23L tank.
The Ducati on the other hand has the light glowing brightly at 200km.

The Strom sounds like an all round beaut bike, thought about getting one actually, but a bit high for me and the Sprints were a good bike for the money I had.
Have an issue with my right wrist. Call it a disability if you like. (-:
The Bonnie was 240km before it needed a refill.

                G'day mate

My set of wheels is a bit more 'pedestrian' than your zippy-doodah & sexy bikes

                Here's the home-on-the-road

Here's where I am now typing you a 'love letter'

                hope you enjoy 'em
                Regards, Phil

and down in the storage locker are 6 under-the-bed roller boxes of workshop materials, 1/2-dozen tripods, copies of printed training materials, etc etc - comes in at about 120kg of stuff

wow Phil, impressive. 1/2 dozen tripods? I own two and rarely use them. How awesome to be travelling around. I bet you see some great sights!

                          G'day all

Travelling is great - tho at times it can get repetitive ........zzzzzz
So far this year we've done photo workshops at Tenterfield - Benalbo - Chinchilla - Tresswell - Springsure - Tambo with Rolleston next weekend. Followed by Barcaldine - Buckland Road social club [a mob of cattle station people 200km from the closest town] - Rubyvale - Clermont - Charters Towers - Mareeba -Innisfail - and so it goes on & on

Tullamore where our lovely Sandy / Nikkie lives is on the list too ~ Sept 27-28-29 Sandy !!

and we finish in southern NSW out in October before getting back home for 8 weeks over Dec / Jan

With apologizes to all for lowering the tone of the thread here's my baby.

Wearing her red coat and wishing I'd buy her a lawn mower for Xmas.

And here she is resting for a few days under a nice tree sporting her new white coat straight from the can from Bunnings. (Cost me over a hundred dollars for that coat!! But no expense spared for the love of my life.)
