  • 3 vehicles with unusual loads.

    There is picture behind every story, or something like that.

    The Mini on the VW Ute was the ex wifes car we brought over to Perth in 1975, its a scan of scan so its lacking quality. This was taken at Eucla, just before the Nullarbor was sealed, there was around 200km of dirt.

    The truck load was cleaning up after the Royal Show in Perth on the Sunday, I had given instructions for everything to go on one load. My son always made sure he followed instructions!! They were passed by a cop car going north on the Freeway.

    PS Back then I never got stopped for overloading. Don't know what would happen today in Queensland

    With enough rope and imagination anything is achievable.

    Gotta love a good Kombi image. Death on wheels but go absolutely anywhere you point it, I love 'em. Not many getting around these days and that's probably a good thing lol.

    I've owned two Kombis, one went BANG! then caught on fire, the other just caught on fire. Did some good miles in them though.
