This section was the semi-arid plants from South Africa.

This was taken in 2005 using a Pentax 67II, lens 55mm and Fuji Velvia.

Converted to BW.

Looks like something straight out of a scifi film Greenspeed.
As seems to be a feature of many of your shots, your DOF is impressive and suits this image well.
The texture is very good too I think.
My eyes tend to wander about looking for a feature to latch on to.

must admit the image doesn't look right does it. Not sure it's that light in LR. anyway it's just for ideas and the perfect prize winning image is somewhere in between yours and mine lol. Maybe time to set up the external monitor.
