  • Motorcycling in cold climates

An old one. I have no sympathy Janices Ducati is way faster than my bike so she can suffer the cold hands.

Those Ducs are such a great looking bike. I chuckled at the caption...

It was pretty cold riding to the Yea pub for lunch that day (winter 2007). both girls suffered as I think they were the only two on the ride without heated grips. Goodie (right) has them on her current bike, Janice just only rides in warm weather now.

Hahahaha been there, done that K1W1. I remember one winter out for a weekend away riding with Chris and we had to pull up in service stations to put our hands under the hot air blowers to get some feeling back into them. Ahhh, I love my heated leather seats hahaha

Never make the same mistake twice, there are so many new ones, try a different one each day

Back in the good old days Janice and I lived 199km apart and each weekend one of us would travel to the others place by bike - through a NZ winter!
I think we both know all the tricks about riding with one hand on the engine to warm the fingers.
Yes and the heated seats in my car are the kids favourite accessory. They get turned on even before the radio channel is changed!
