  • steam train

    this one pased through home and the NSWFB had the job of filling in it up with water
    sorry Ima not a train nutter so I can not tell you any more other than it had come up from sydney doing a tour of the north coast

    Rod, this is the same steam train I had to go and shoot leaving from the Wauchope Railway Station last weekend You've done well, the shots look great.

      can't quite remember how the classification of trains is/was.....in the case it would be a 2-6-2
      the first 2 is for the 2 "steering" wheels up front
      the 6 would be for the next 6 "drive" wheels, followed by 2 more drive wheels. the classification system was named
      for someone, but the fog is too thick in head to retrieve it

        yeah I thought it would have been, not realy my thing except the cpt asked me to grap a couple of shots as i don't realy like to do that when I am supposed to be working and wearing the the uniform
