Air Show - Airlie Beach

Just a couple from the Airlie Beach Air Show in April 2011. Please excuse the quality, I took these from a very fast ferry returning from Daydream Island.
#1 - I reckon the bird's dreaming!

#2 - Same mob, coming back again!

#3 - Loopy!

#4 - Above the clouds.

#5 - Out of Nowhere!

an amazing effort considering the circumtances mate. The first two for me, cause they show off the formation well.
Does it seem to you Isac that in the second image the lead plane is out of position??

Ditto , what Timmo said, but I really like the simple offset pattern of the aircraft in the blue sky of number 3. Good stuff.

Yeah Tim, about 15mm on my monitor. I suppose it's all in the angles.

Judging by the wingspan I reckon the bird's a Sea Eagle, so in with a chance.
