    My wife had tickets to see a Jersey Boys tribute show at Crown Casino, so i took the opportunity to make a trip into the CBD to take some photos.
    All images converted using NIK Silver Efex.

    You did what you had in mind in #1. Not sure I like the effect it had on the clouds. The black and white images reminded me of the Ilfachrome days.

      Thanks Hans. A 5 minute exposure is always going to have an effect on clouds, depending on how fast they're crossing past as to what effect you end up with.

      That's when you take one fast exposure as well as the long exposure, so you can blend the 2 using masks.

    I quite like the clouds actually. I am not a keen B/W fan, but these work well. I think the mellow tones make the city look kind and attractive. I like the 3rd best.

      You've done well using all that gear John to get the effect you were after. Well done. #1 for me, nice clean shot. Will you post the colour versions? Be nice to see how NIK worked his magic.
