    The first one certainly looks close. The steam and bit of blur in this works really well.

      If I had stood up (camera was on a tripod for both shots) I could have touched it. They are fairly laid back about that sort of thing.

    A beaut pair of images - I like the mono treatment for #1 ...
    and I can well understand the driver's nonchalance re- tripod and you coz you were probably only one of several 'togs on the spot

      No all by myself. It is the bridge between Cockatoo and Emerald that you have to walk 1/2 km or so to get to so it’s way to difficult for most people who probably don’t know it’s there anyway.
