Subject in Motion

My Daughter has been going to the local skating rink for the past 14 years or so, I bring my camera along to take pictures of the skaters.



These are with a 60 year old Canon 100mm F2 in Leica mount, wide-open on the M Monochrom. ISO cranked up to 10,000. Shutter speeds 1/30th on the middle shot to 1/125th on the last one.
It gets dark, the lighting is by the disco lights.

Moving subjects and low-lighting .... a difficult combination, as evidenced via the ISO setting you needed
Still--you have done remarkably well to have them as sharp as they are

Nice set Brian, my favorite of the three is the middle one.
Most of my subject in motion shots, would be motorsports but I remembered one from a dozen years ago that fits this thread better - handheld panning at 1/8s:
