  • Vista view

    1 - This is in the vicinity of Mt. Kailash, part of Gangdise mountain range, Tibet. Buddhist prayer flags are a common sight here. These were shot couple of years ago when I was in that region.

      I'm like you Sunni, I avoid people in my shots unless the are part of the story. I'm guessing that where these images were taken is quite high above sea level and the air would be quite thin making the trek even more exhausting.

      Absolutely right. The elevation of round trip trek ranges from 15000 - 18000 ft. We had to take the Diamox pills to reduce the possibility of high altitude sickness. No oxygen is needed but usually packed with the first aid kit.
