Lovely image K1W1. Is this near Burnham Beeches in Sherbrooke?

Thanks. Yes the top is the gate into what was the Piggery cafe when it was operating. The beech trees and between the two driveways and were planted to give the property its original name.

The gardens are open and always have been. The Piggery cafe and the house part are closed and were sold by Shannon 6 months or so ago to a group who claim they are going to restore everything and reopen the house I assume as a hotel and upmarket restaurant. We have heard this before though since the hotel closed in 1992 the average ownership period for people going to rebuild is less than 5 years. Shannon was the only one who actually did anything when he opened the cafe.
The group who own the place now do have the money and they are being supported by the Nicholas family and the family of the original house architect and they are trying to actively involve us locals so who knows something might happen. Unfortunately they seem to prefer Scott Pickett to run their restaurants and he is a long way down my preferred restaurateur list but let's see what happens in the next 18 months or so.

I like the repeating and receding shapes of the trees, and the way the path lightens as it recedes. Excellent tones too.
