    This guy looked pretty angry. B&W for a change. Played with a BW adjustment layer for various effects and settled on this one.

    He does look rather angry Isac - what did you do to him? Unusual pattern in the background. Did you apply a texture or is it just natural blur. Good subject isolation and pose.

      Thanks Alan. I normally use "Image Calculations" for punchy B&W but thought I'd play with the standard B&W adjustment layer for this one. PS has default settings for each colour when you add the B&W layer. They add Red/Yellow to be 100, Green/Cyan to be 100 and Blue/Magenta to be 100, like this:

      These are the settings I used, which is pushing the limits. The BG effect was created by dropping the Green to -70, adding darker shades to the sky and pole.
