A couple of footbridges over the Yarra at Docklands. I may have gone over the top with the B/W processing. CC welcome.

Love the first one John. I'd be inclined to straighten the verticals - but I'm a bit like that with horizons too

There used to be a thread for "Bridge Photos" in the good old days ...

Thanks for the encouraging words Alan.
It's a great lens for architecture and confined space work. Even with the 1.6 crop factor on the 7D it's still a pretty wide lens, and with the short focal length you can shoot in low light without having to worry about slow shutter speeds.

Lovely work and PP on these GJ. #1 is seriously good. Funny how lenses see verticals compared with the human eye. Alan, with real estate photos, if you set the tripod up midway from floor to ceiling, it cuts down on the PP to straighten up verticals (on normal houses only).

Thanks Isac, yes I try that technique. Often get too much ceiling. I'm getting pretty quick with fixing distortion. Balancing the exterior and internal lighting takes a bit longer.

R E Photos are not something I do a lot of

I've done bit of R E work and if I need to straighten, I use the easy CTR + SHIFT + DRAG (Inwards or Outwards) method. Super easy and quick as. Here's a sample page on my website. Not perfect but client was happy. REAL ESTATE SAMPLE

I now have the 10-18 lens for R E work. it gets nice and wide with very little if no distortion and good detail out to the edges. Happy with it so that's all that matters I suppose.
        Congratulations on the new job!
