G'day mate
Yeah - I like it ... the beaut positioning of the bird at the top of the burnt stump, good long-lens work, followed by the mono treatment makes it 10/10 for me

Thx for the comments. I do need some advice from wildlife or bird photographers though. How do you get these things to pose correctly. I tried the same technique you use with foreigners speaking really loud and slowly and waving my arms alot to indicate which way I wanted the bird to sit it just seemed to sit there ignoring me with a bemused look. What is the trick?.
