  • And the weather turned.

Into a very grey day. Bit of a play in NIK HDR pro.

Lovely shot Pete. This has a lot of potential.

What worries me is the very tight crop at the bottom. Those sliced off boats are a shame and rather distracting, I feel.

The sky is a winner. Take a new shot, and use the sky again. It will be a perfect!

My indecision is final, I think.

Thanks Charles, I'll do that, I have a collection of shots in that area, when I get home i'll give it a go. The location is York Cove George Town Tasmania. An over shot location so i'm trying diferent ideas. Came 4th in a photo Competion for post and thankyou cards with that one but in colour. The mayors wife won the comp, a councilors daughter came second and I'm pretty sure similar for three. But whose bitchin.

Thought the same as Charles. Just need to see all of the boats without the crop.

Sorry Pete - I need to take more time in typing my replies - (it's not like I have anything better to do.)

I was referring to the 'Rule of Thirds' that is often used when composing photos. It's not set in stone, but is a useful starting point.

It's in my mind atm because Jo has chosen 'Three' as the the latest 'Challenge'
