Perfect shutter speed and timing on the shots.
Only seen wood chopping once in my life. Many years ago in Darwin some Tassie blokes came to town and gave an exhibition. Wow!
I thought it would be boring as mud but sheesh, it's exciting to watch, especially when they start racing to the top of a huge log by cutting in those planks.
Scary to watch and nothing but respect from me. Controlled madness and danger with a high skill level-----------------------------------------------------

B&W suits. (is that Poster Edges Filter you've added? There is a sort of 'grittiness' to the shots - but I'm in two minds about it)
Cheers
I sometimes run poster edges at it's minimum settings over an image prior to resizing just to see the effect. Then run it backwards and forward to compare. Often it helps with contrast without affecting the overall look and sometimes it detracts, in which case it's best left out.
Whatever, it's all a learning process and it helps you develop an individual style. It think it would be sad if we all did things the same way.

A different way to keep fit - although not sure the last guy would fit in the accepted BMI range. However, one of BILs would be classed as well overweight but used to cycle 10 k daily - then come home and demolish a packet of biscuits which is why his weight never went down. He was however, aerobically very fit. #1 would be my favourite of these.

BW helps declutter what I imagine was a colourful crowd.
Love the facial expressions.
