    Yamaha Piano

This was taken few years ago.
Shen Hao 4 x 5; Ilford film (cant remember which type); Scheneider 150mm (equivalent to 50mm).

Pianos are so photogenic, and you have certainly proven that. A most imaginative shot. What's the music? Can't quite make it out.

Yamaha make very fine pianos. I believe that they are the only piano manufacturer to make every part of the instrument in house. Most of the great piano makers - Bosendorfer, Bechstein, Steinway for example - get the frames cast by someone else, out-source the wire for strings and use a Renner action.

My indecision is final, I think.

      Hi Charles,

Thanks. Not sure what's the music on the book .
I was at my sister-in-law's place when I took this shot.
I selectively focused on "Yamaha" which I feel adds to the picture, rather than getting everything sharp.
Thanks for the info on pianos. I knew Yamaha has a good name in the industry (that's about my knowledge on pianos ).
